Weaving workshops took place on June 22-23 at the People’s University in Wola Sękowa (Sanok poviat). The workshop was organized as part of the project “The Wallachian Culture Trail in the Polish-Ukrainian borderland” financed by the Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Cross-border Cooperation Program 2014-2020.
The workshop began with the presentation of weaving handicraft products appearing in the Carpathians. The next step was to learn how to stretch the warp over the frame, put on the canvas and start weaving. The participants chose the materials for work and started weaving the pattern of their choice. At the end of the workshop, each participant presented a small tapestry made by himself.
