Invitation to cheese-making workshops and workshops on regional ornamentation

Dear Sir or Madam,
as part of the project “The Trail of Wallachian Culture in the Polish-Ukrainian borderland”, the “Pro Carpathia” Association invites everyone to participate in free of charge:

1) cheese workshops, which will take place on June 17, 2021 at the “FIGA” Family Ecological Farm in Mszana

During the workshop, traditional recipes and production cycles will be presented. Participants will be able to learn the practical aspects of the production of cheese typical of the region. The workshops will be an element of promoting the culture and historical potential of the Carpathian region. Participants will also be able to try local cheese products.

2) workshops on regional ornamentation, which will take place on June 18, 2021 at the agritourism farm – Farfurnia in Zawadka Rymanowska

During the workshop, there will be a presentation of regional ornamental motifs characteristic of the Carpathians (Polish-Ukrainian borderland). The functions and materials used will also be discussed.

We are waiting for applications until June 14, 2021. The number of places is limited, the order of applications counts!

We especially invite people interested in the traditional cultural heritage of the region and activities aimed at its preservation, who will pass on the knowledge gained during the workshops in their institutions and organizations.
