From 28 to 29 August this year, in Bieszczady Hoczew held a meeting of the Steering Committee and a scientific seminar organized as part of the project “World of Carpathian Rosettes” by the Association “Pro Carpathia”. Within the Committee, a study visit was organised for the Bieszczady School of Crafts in the Mineral Uherce as a centre using the cultural heritage of the region in its activities.
During the seminar, lectures on folk construction in the Eastern Carpathians were heard. Inż. Arch. Gransicki brand (PWSZ in Krasta), about the old and modern traditions and customs of the Boyes prof. Volodymyr Hałajczuk from Lviv National University. The presentation of ukrainian ceramics creator Serhiy Dutka from Kosovo was of great interest. Ms Andrzej Żygadło spoke about the sacred architecture of the Polish-Ukrainian border.
