Where the sun is close: shepherd traditions

And let’s move to the Carpathians…

Let’s take a look at how the local inhabitants live, what traditions they cultivate, and what crafts they do. Let’s imagine that together with the shepherd we go to the pasture, with the sound of bells on the sheep’s necks. The film “Where the Sun is Near: Traditions of Sheep Breeding” will help you fully feel this magical atmosphere.

Its task is to talk about the richness of this culture, show that you can breathe new life into tradition, make it fashionable, set a trend for uniqueness, because sheep breeding and products derived from it are perhaps the best example of such a unique craft.

The project “The Wallachian Culture Trail on the Polish-Ukrainian border” is implemented by the Euroregion Carpathians – Ukraine Association and the Association for the Development and Promotion of Podkarpacie “Pro Carpathia” and is financed by the European Union under the JTS Poland-Belarus-Ukraine Program.
