In mid-October 2019, in Urycz, lviv region of Ukraine, as part of the project “World of Carpathian rosettes – activities for the preservation of the cultural uniqueness of the Carpathians” took place the Boyko Culture Festival “Boje”.
During this cultural event you could admire the performances of folk bands, participate in thematic lectures about the “world of the Boy”, as well as observe the stagings of Carpathian folk customs. There were also representatives of crafts, who presented their – inspired by tradition – handicrafts. So you could and view, as well as acquire, ceramic, leather and local food products. The organizers also prepared projects for the youngest, so that children and young people can spend time learning elements of the cultural legacy of the Boy. The greatest interest among this group of participants was enjoyed learning to play on… thrombin.
The event prepared by ukrainian project partners was attended by representatives of Polish media, experts and people creating documentation for the emerging Karpacka Cultural Center.
