Music workshops

On November 8-9, 2021, two-day music workshops were organized in Ustrzyki Górne. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Michal Smetanka – producer of folk musical instruments, artist, teacher, multi-instrumentalist, collector and composer. During the workshops, the participants were presented with traditional musical instruments of the Carpathians. On the first day, instruments from the group of aerophones were discussed. The second day was devoted to instruments from the group of chordophones, idiophones and membranophones. The lecturer presented the basics of the construction and construction of instruments as well as the basics of playing selected instruments.
